Advanced Ceramic Composite Envelope Systems

Research into composite ceramic components at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute continues with prototyping protocols with the intended outcome of integrating advanced technologies to modify temperature gradients and minimize diurnal swings into a full-scale demonstration for limited testing. This report describes the continuing development of ceramic prototyping processes and digital simulation studies intended to further second-generation composite wall components towards completion.
