Cuba, Historic Preservation: Integrated Community and Policy

The objective of this research is to better understand the circular relationship between preservation, social projects, and economics that exists in Havana, Cuba. Through on site interviews and project visits, this research analyzes the Cuban policy model. By serving the population that has the greatest need, the Office of the City Historian has built a support network. An analysis of these relationships sheds light on the connection between built heritage and a living, breathing community.
