Healthcare Facilities from Planning to Design

The objective of this paper is to provide an aid – cultural and technical – for planners so that their work may take into account three interdependent questions: the humanization of the hospital environment; scientific-technological innovation both in materials and building systems and in medical equipment and the biotechnologies; planning for the building of a hospital system which will meet the needs of a population living in a defined area.
