Jul 01, 2003

This case study for Trillium Health Centre in Toronto offers approaches for building upon existing assets to create an innovative healthcare campus.

On its Queensway site, Trillium has undertaken not only to concentrate outpatient services but to create an innovative ambulatory campus with a mix of publicly and privately funded services in a radically different healthcare environment.

The Queensway's Health Gardens Planning Concept includes:
1. wayfinding
2. a bold green environment
3. a strategy for growth of the indoor garden environment
4. an urban transformation
