Flooding and Schools

According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, flooding is the nation's most common natural disaster. Although low-lying and coastal areas engender particular concern, all school locations dictate a need for flood preparedness. This article presents information on damage that flooding can casue to sites and buildings, preventing or mitigating flood damage, preparing for and responding to flood emergencies, and recovering from a flood.
